Park City Board of Realtors has released the most recent stats for Q2, 2015. The number of closed sale and total volume for the first have or year 2015 are the highest they have been since 2007. Here are some highlights on the most recent statistics.

  1. Total number of closed sales YTD (Q1 & Q2) was 9% higher than year 2014. This represents the highest first half of the year since year 2007
  2. Total dollar volume is up 11% over 2014 (Q1 & Q2)
  3. Summit & Wasatch counties remain highly segmented. Some areas have declined, while most have increased.

SINGLE FAMILY HOMES- Park City Limits (zip code 84060)

  1. Median sales price within the Park City limits (zip code 84060) was close to $1.34M.
  2. The average price has actually come down about 11%.
  3. Old town +28% increase in home sale, with median sales price of $1.21M. Prospector +8% in home sale, with median at $700,000. Park Meadows +24% home sales, with median just under $1.38M.
  4. We are not at our 2007 pricing, and the market is being described as “steady growth”.

  5. Pinebrook median was $780,000
  6. Trailside median was $619,000
  7. Canyons area median was $5.475 million (due to the Colony at White Pine)
  8. Jordanelle area median was $838,000
  9. Heber Valley was up 17% in overall sales, and median was $345,000

CONDOMINIUM- Park City limits (84060)

*This section represents the past 12 months. Condominiums in Park City continued to be a strong portion of our market. The total number of sales was 9% higher than the previous 12 months. There was a 14% increase in the median price.

  1. Old Town median at $445,000, up 21% over previous year.
  2. Prospector median $132,000
  3. Lower Deer Valley median $735,000, up 15%

CONDOMINIUMS- Snyderville Basin (84098)

*This section represents the past 12 months. Year-over-year the number amount of sold properties was +21%, and the median price increase to $380,000 up 13%.

  1. Kimball Junction median price was $245,000
  2. Canyons area was up 41% in number of sales, with the median price of $389,000
  3. Jeremy Ranch had 58% more sales than the previous 12 months. The median price increased to $535,000
  4. Jordanelle median price was $439,000

Vacant Land-Park City Limits (84060)

*Vacant Land sale (for the entire market) had a slight increase over previous 12 months. There was a 10% increase in the median sale price.
